Hehe, I went to work today, and my boss is on holiday, so I started playin soldat as ya do, but I got bored, so i played arena2 with 30 bots. It was well funny, but the 1.8 athlon now enjoys crashing at regular intervals :/ oh well [8)] So anyone else here screwed there PC in the name of a good frag ?

soldat is fun... but ill not crash a comp for it...

I use an AMD K6-III to 400 MHz. It does not crash with 30 bots, it just go at 0 fps but I am able to exit the game after 30 secs.

i need umm...7000k bots to play if i want my comp to crash ;P

7,000 k?!?! thats 7,000,000 or 7 million bots, theyd be running around on top of each other and stuff lol, and im sure you didnt mean that but ah well

rofl, my computer is a 2ghz Athlon XP 256megabyte ram with a GeForce2 Ti and it runs normally with the maximum amount of bots :) its healla gory in arena2 and it doesnt even slow down rofl its fun [:-censored]...

man i wish michal would let us put a bigger maximum amount of bots :D

my comp will crash when atleast 7000K (7000 x 1000) bots will be on the same game ;P

and with 30 I get 85fps which is the same as I get with 0 bots

I run with 6x anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering

I get between 100 and 120 fps without bots and over 100 fps with anisotropic(my graphic card does not support antialiasing), maybe you had blocked to get more fps.

MY POINT IS: that my computer is awsome and stuff.

My PC starts dying at 13+ bots. At that amount, there's always enough bots on screen to slow it.

on my barton 3200+ 512ddr ram and radeon 9700 i've got 200fps all the time;
maybe michal could change bots limit to something like 100...

i don't believe your statement about 200fps, as (i think?) Soldat doesn't even refresh itself that many times... and who plays with 100 bots anyways? and does so on a regular basis?
