FreeBSD - Should I run a server?

I just ordered Soldat, hopefully my reg-key comes soon (hint).

Anyhow, I run two Quake 3 servers - 10 players each.

The server I run them on is running FreeBSD on an Athlon 1600 + 1 gig RAM. The server is running at a datacenter so it's got tons of bandwidth - hooked right into backbone feeds, etc.

Two Questions:

1. Will Soldat dedicated Linux run in FreeBSD?

2. Would anyone find a 10 player server even useful?

The server is located in San Francisco, California.

Thank you.

1- I really have no idea (ask moderators)

"even useful"? so youre saying 10 isnt much? 10 is more than enough for me, otherwise it gets too crowded. too bad i live in europe.

You don't live in Europe you live in Belgium.

And yes a 10 person server is pretty darn good (the DNAgames server is probably the best known and is 10 person ctf)

Well, Soldat Dedicated Linux Beta is made for Linux systems, and thus I would not expect it to run on a unix based system such as FreeBSD.
