This is a very odd problem I've been having with Soldat, I'd appreciate any help. My system specs are:
Windows ME AMD Athalon 900mhz processor
Nvidia Vanta/Vanta LT driver, the latest one I believe.
9.0 Directx.

Somehow I suspect this is a video problem. 9 out of ten times when i try to start Soldat, it will either simply freeze, or it will begin to start jerkily and then freeze before loading the "Exit/okay" screen. Naturally, it works just fine every once in a while, seemingly randomly, causing me to become very pissed off.

check your settings with config.exe; on Graphics tab make sure if u set it to 32bits disable dithering (that causes problem at me)

try installing latest detonator driver from nvidia, that could help

As mat says, make sure that you have checked over all the options in config.exe (Soldat Setup)

And your video card isn't exactly... very good any more ;) lol

yeha update all ur software directx/drivers and edit config mayeb uve set too many options :P i dunno heh
