How to jump to achieve maximum height?

I see people can jump and fly more then me. Especcially in ctf maps.[?]

I use jump and fly at the same time(beginning).

first jump, then at the highest point, start your jets. (DUH)

press JUMP button, then press FLY button, and youll make a SUPER JUMP!!!!!!! lol

Press fly just when the soldat leaves the ground, then when your jets run out, tap fly a bit so your jets recharge a bit in midair.

Yeah. You'll find the gravity system of Soldat means its really hard to get off from the ground fast. If you jump, you can break this barrier and get decent height with the following jet.

However, jumping and jetting at the same time loses the boost of the jump. It's best done by letting the jump get to about 1 cm from the ground before jetting. This'll get you at more than double a basic jet-from-ground boost.

God, sounds like a damned world record attempt.

Jump off the ground, but don't wait until you reach the full hieght, jump when your Soldat is moving up the fastest.

Also, you can take advantage of falling, and if you time it right, when you hit the ground, you can jump, bounce and jet up, and you will go... rather high ^_^

jump and in the middle of your jump use jets (duh)

I heard the windows key (that funny little fecker next to the ALT key on relatively new keyboards) makes you jump twice as high than usual.

I tried it myself a few times, but the windows key just makes me stand still for 15 seconds clutching the enemy flag in the middle of the map with 3 badguys chasing behind me, and then the next thing I know I've respawned in my base with my little character saying "ARGH WTF F*CKING WINDOWS KEY KILL KILL KILL!!!!1".

Anyone else had this phenonemonononon?

Today I found out that you can run to the left by pressing the "A" key. I am figuring out how to run to the right. Check back for updates!!
