A moderator is someone who is a step down from the administrator.
Basically they're the "forum police"
They check the board they're a mod for (like the Modifaction board for Meandor) and police it, making sure that posts are in the right board, and keeping the flaming to a minimum.
Basically they can modify and delete other people's posts.
