Ok Striker started up this idea of making a Soldat CD for distribution. Personally I think this is a REALLY cool idea... but I'd like to take it a step further. He wanted to make a case, CD stomp, etc... I would like to have a list of the BEST of Soldat. That way people can hunt and get all of these things for their own Soldat CDs.

My alternate motive is I'm going to give a registered copy of Soldat to a friend for a belated birthday present... but just giving him the reg code seemed like a cop-out :P.

Ok, I agree with those two (also I will add my own little version of NC's mod... I took the interface out and made a custom interface thing for it... registered user thing).

BTW, our only real limitation here is 640K! So keep suggesting guys!

As far as maps though... I'm talking the best of the best. Look at anything by Emoac if you need an example.

ASE should go on. Soldat loses alot of players because they don't know about ASE.

What about a "Premium" CD, where you buy a reg key for every CD, then selling it for $9 (add on whatever you need for the CD + posting, but i don't think michal would like you making too much money off it)

I think people are slightly misunderstanding what I'm planning to do...

I'm putting together a list of Soldat stuff... I'm not going to burn and distribute (via mail at least).

I just thought it'd be very cool to have a complete list of Soldat related stuff. Part 2 of this is I'm going to buy a reg code for a friend and INCLDUE that in his burn. I'll just distribute the non-reged ones to everyone else ^_^ (in person, btw).


And the problem with trying to distribute a Premium CD (aside from possible legality issues) is that a reg code has a name attatched to it (ie mine says registerd to Social Poison). So unless you know who you're giving the game to, registering it and burning that would be a bad idea.

Register the game again with another name or ask Michal to help you.

Do you mean for my friend? Yes that was my intention... I'll register in his name.
