I just finished to set the brand new M4D's dedicated pc for Soldat.

Servers details:

1 Deathmatch
1 Pointmatch
1 Rambomatch
1 Teammatch
1 Infiltration
4 Capture the flag [1 public, 1 with custom maps (passworded), 2 dedicated to the official SCTFL (passworded))

Servers can be easily found via A.S.E. or Lobby Servers.

The pc has 1.5 GB RAM and actually I'm just using 40% of the processor, only soldat runs on this machine...

So, if you need hosting for trainings, passworded dedicated servers to do what you like, or for realistic games or whatever ... just contact me.

great job kadash [8D]. m4d really means business it seems. Everyone's apparently sweating for soldat and the league but NOONE so far [apart from dnagames]has done anything remotely as useful as this. I wonder what happened to the ppl that moaned about the recent sctfl server transfer.... [?]

Eyic actually I don't know... we know extra-european players have often problems while connecting on euro servers, is just a matter of fact whatever connection ppl and servers have... just try opening A.S.E. or log in directly.

The last time I saw you I didn't checked your ping, anyway :P

hey kadash, im gettign around 300+ ping but im not feeling lag :|

Eyic how's your ping on DNA? I want to understand if is a "m4d" problem or you're simply too far form Europe to have a decent ping :P

Anyway... I'm used to play from a simple LAN (ADSL 256) and my ping never goes over 150... I experienced pings over 200 (i.e. while we upload something), it's still playable, real troubles come around 400 :O

Of course the same LAN has a ping of 60 on CS.. medium hi-ping is a Soldat problem, and we hope 1.2 will have better pings.

From University (GARR connection) my ping on M4D is <50

the server is always in the top 3 of my list (in pings) but its passworded..

Superkill only 3/9 server are passworded... two are for SCTFL league, the other one has custom maps: you have a choiche of 6 free servers (1 for each Soldat mode): IP is the same, ports go from 23073 to 23079 (note that port 23074 is passworded).

We had some ping testing tonigh on SCTFL server #1

it seems to work fine even with non euro players: I mean Sbal, Rufio, R... Nightcabbage too says his ping was good.

All servers are crowded @ all hours, so what can I say? My pleasure to give Soldatism a better chance to explode :)

And to SCTFL customisable and neutral servers with SCTFL settings, once and for all :)

kadash i get 400 ping on dnagames an i ALWAYS get ping kicked, so m4d's servers r a lil better, ill check again after school...

I've set the ping kick @ 500

At that "speed" Soldat is almost unplayable so no-one will bother if kicked :)

In ASE all of your servers are 1st with the ping, even better pings than server in my country!

When I started making Soldat I didn't expect that one day it would become a proffesional league game. Now it is more and more becoming one thanks to people that have time and possibility like this. Thanks a lot!

Today I met an Aussie player... he had little lags... but played good and stuff :)

BiOsi, everytime I play on one of your servers I get around 20-85 in ping. But it lags like I had 300+
Do you know what the problem is? I got 10 MB Broadband so it ain't my fault ;)

ey, I believe he was just making a point that we live in AUSTRALIA and we should expect our pings to be huge in any server out of aus :/

3rd account, lag on your machine does not depend form servers where everyone is ok @ ping and lag...

I dunno but for sure is not a remote setting... check you pc ;)

b00tiful servers baby, but no one seems to be able to join 'em right now. Which seems to explain why they're all bloody empty! [:-gnasher]

I don't know... after a while (a week?) servers become unjoinable for most people... who knows why? Anyway... now I'm back home and I will check them every day, so send alerts on my msn/icq if you can't join and I will simply restart those little brats :D
