Hey Soldat World!
I'm back from my grounding, and with new tales from other games. I know Michal would not like me doing this just before a big release (sorry Michal-san), but I just saw this really cool trick in Quake III.
In this one map, I saw someone being able to cling to walls using a...grappling hook! The hook looks alot like Super Metroid's little laser zapping thing. If you fell off the map, you could just use the hook to get back in the action!
Now, I don't know how you take a 3d thin and make it 2d, but Super Metroid did it. This new gun would make vets scurrying to find new tricks they could use with it. It would essentially make the game..."so fresh and so clean clean". [^]

could you use it to kill people, liek grab their head and rip it off?

jetpacks are enough for me [^]

that would be so cool like hangging off the ceiling like spited man (but with a gun) :-D

it'd be nice but i think it would be useless if it didn't kill.

Hey welcome back and nice idea ^_~.

1. This would havta be a secondary gun in my oppinion.
2. It would be very good at stumping Snipers (running about to get shot, quickly pulls out grappeling hook and hooks it to roof and swings right b4 gets shot)
3. They're attack would be knocking they're gun outta they're hands (like hands) and improve the hands too(or do u want it to stick to people for like 3 seconds? Say some1 was on a bridge, u go under them, stick to em and slide up and pull out ur sniper and shoot him point blank, or u hold some1 from getting away while ur teamates get that evxtra 3 seconds to catch up.

U know what would be interesting if u could hook on to ur team mates and han gon while they jet you could make a very long chain of ppl hangin on each other would be interesting huh.

But we have our jet boots (jet boots!?!?!? rofl... strange when u think about it, given the context ;)

hey... grab the roof... whire up and hang in roof like a sniper... or on a straight wall... do that with jetpack!
