later on, you spy the unsuspecting target,
being an opputunitist, you quickly jet up,
let a few nades fly, and begin to evade
his hastily aimed shots.

explosions rock his world, an especially
large one poofing on the top of his
polygonical head, and the bottom of
your screen reads:

YOU KILLED (your ominous laugh erupts,
bwahahahaha...) myUBERnadesPWNu
but you then realize that it actually says
YOU WERE KILLED BY myUBERnadesPWNu

WTF? clearly those nades should have been
fatal, they expoded upon contact with his
body... earlier that same method of
employment had slayed you... but why
was his head still attached to his shoulders?
why wasn't his body blooding and tatterted
with fragments? what was this injustice?

does GOD just not like you?
or do these Soldat nades just sux?

Yes grenades go hand in hand with lags and bugs. They are a blessing and a curse.


While lag my save you at one point my having a sniper miss you. Later the lag could make you go on countless suicide runs and hurting no one because they are all warping.


You think you are smooth by knowing about a bug when you throw a grenade in such and such poly then it comes out the other side. But someone else my know about being able to camp in a certain poly and BOOM! Good luck getting that slug outta there.


The grenades are basically what you just described.

Nice post el simpsons i agree. It would be good if it took skill to nade people. I reckon that nades should have a range limit and blow up in ur hand. That way u would have to wait untill ppl were in range and not hold on to it too long. Also maybe a delay between the first and second gren that u throw to stop spam.
Although its always going to be hard to stop ppl running up to u and using a point blank gren.

Nades kill on direct contact with the head or the feet. The body just takes damage from it. If you hit a crouching/proning guy you will almost always kill him at once with 1 nade.

i think we need diversity in nades!
we should have flash-bangs that white out ur screen (or semi white out sepending on how close u came to the explosion)
sound nades that make ur speakers ring for a while and slow down ur movement (foe any1 who cant make that link between sound and movement, there is a liqid in ur ears that balance u.
and smoke nades that create a large clous of smoke that stayes there 4 a while and when ur guy is in it it balnks out ur WHOLE screen till u get out of it.

Yeah its annoying, i wouldn't have a problem if nades always yielded the same results. But they don't so i end up normaly throwing all of mine at a camper to find that the first one kills him, or that none of them do.
