I love this game! But its a little odd with all the characters and stuff.

I had a look at the site looks pretty sweet, ill get it off Game Arena when i get home.

In my opinion, the game blows. I wasted an hour downloading it (because it was a slow server uploading at like 40 kb/s) and when I finally tried it, it stunk. It was like a crappy Worms ripoff with pretty graphics. The interface is confusing your first time around, and I couldn't find any good manuals on it, even though that could just be due to my laziness. I'll take Worms World Party over this any day of the week.

BTW: never buy money-only items, they aren't worth it unless you buy the ones that give you like 50% more when you have them all, unless of course you're going for looks. By the time the items pay for themselves, you've already gotten enough money for whatever you want...
Eg: If your only money item is the casket, you'd need to make 250,000 gold before it pays for itself :P Just a little tip.

Yeah, it runs fine on 56k. It's turn based, and doesn't use up a whole lot of bandwidth (aside from d/ling ;) ).

Not quite. You are forgetting that you can sell the item for extra profit.
I don't remember the stats for the casket, so I'll work with the flags. 10000 gold for 6% money increase.
So, I need to earn 166666 gold before I earn 10000 gold from the flag (which I would argue is worth it since there's items more expensive than this). However, after I've earnt 66666 gold, the flag has got me 4000. At this stage, I can sell the flag (for 6000, 60% of it's original price), and I'm even. So, it would seem to be a long-term strategy.

Thanks for giving me a motivation for doing the math, anyway :)
