I run a dedicated server on my computer pretty much all day, and from time to time there will be a message in the server window to the effect of "So-and-so(nick) is flooding the server." What does this mean exactly? I'm GUESSING that it merely means that this person has a monstrous ping, but I'd like to know the details if anyone knows them.

It's usually caused by someone hammering the server (hitting the join button again and again and again...), but sometimes can be caused by accident, or other means...
It ends up giving them something along the lines of a 15 minute ban.

i got kicked for flooding once while i was in game because i was spraying the steyr heaps and wasnt hitting anybody...maaaybe it was just a bug
