There is a F5 and F6 to start and stop music.
I would like a F8 or another to stop sound.
Or at least a button near volume control in the GUI.[?]
Often I watch(listen) tv (tv tuner) when playing soldat.

Sorry, but no other game has this feature, and I can't really see a use for it.
You can buy keyboards that have a mute button on them, quite handy.

Or you can always turn them off- unless you have cheap HP-like speakers, but then Mute is on the keyboard.

umm. can't you just turn that little knob on the speakers that has mystical
properties: it decreases the output of the speakers. i've never had built
in speakers because they can't support 5.1 surround, so i don't have much
knowledge in that area.
