It can be good that you can chat with voice chat in soldat,it would be nice,what you think?

I REALLY wonder why nobody complains about LAG? Everywhere they say it would create more LAG but here where it really applies.. ahh.

It would create LAG.

If you really want to talk while playing Soldat get something like "RogerWilco" or "Teamspeak". I think www.selfkill.com has its own server for Teamspeak! Just tell your friends to join there and start playing Soldat :)

But the voice function IN Soldat is just plain bad IMHO. Michal would have to find a good compression for the sound etc. but those other programs do their jobs very well.

i don't think any online game besides xbox live games have ingame supported voice chat. almost every game uses rogerwilco or teamspeak; i've played clan matches in mechwarrior4, they use rogerwilco; america's army also uses which ever one your squad chooses, counterstrike also uses one of the two. if you really want voice chat, just use em.

doesnt halflife and its mods support ingame chat?

As for this feature built into soldat, I wouldnt recommend no.

Would be cool if we could speak, but I think that it only should be added in Teammatches, CTF and INF where you only could speak to your own team.

urmm all the HALF-LIFE MODS use it! let me c half-life, dod, firearms, wanted & specialisits!

It would be nice chating in soldat if is a voice chat,when are you typing,enemies can kill you!

The thing is that b00sta is right, it would cause lag. Even for me, my computer doesn't have enough speed to support TeamSpeak and soldat at the same time. When I used TS with oLo, the TS lagged and I couldn't understand what my other clanmates were saying, but they could understand me. But I don't know, maybe it would work.

I´ve posted that idea a wile agoe... and then nobody liked it...

bad idea. how about having a little icon appear over you're head when you're typing something? then if somebody shot you you could guilt trip them and say that they're so pathetic that they can only shhot someone who's not actually playing, you know, like quake!

True, but notice how in Half-Life people speaking with the microphone, seem to speak like trash? Soldat would be the same! you could make fun of their trash voice coz it comes out all "bleh blah bloh" type, oh and plus if u get annoyed from it, their should be an option ot mute some people, so they talk to them self, heh funneh ^^

Hey,you can mix the sound that it sounds like it isn´t yours,and about the bad words:you can vote for a ban,and if others hear,they can ban him,that is this:5 players
one is saying a bad word,it looks like this:
4 vs. 1,and the idiot is baned!

mh voice....nah its going to be some crap anyway in soldat, yup like some1 already said in here, ill enjoy it in cs

But what about people form other coutnries? People are running around screaming in English, Spanish, Polish, German, French etc. It would be too hard to understand, unless you put a block voice lsit for those who speak different languages. Anyways, you really don't wanna hear me going insane on people when they kill me or do something cheap.

So, my vote is no.

I use Messenger to talk to my friend while playing against him... :D

I think it would work great.

Yo man,he will take a mesage on his language in the game,like this:Speak english or be baned! or

on Croatian:Stani i razgovaraj engleski,or...or...or... itd.
