It's more easy change desktop resolution to 640*480 than using Soldat in full screen mode.
Somebody can do an utility to switch to 640 starting soldat and when soldat exits return to normal resolution?

That would be helpful, coz it runs slow when you have a diff. res.

indeed, but u have to wait for this coz it's take long time in my opinion to change the whole resulotion and u can handle waiting 10 sec

When you first change to 640 only change one time. And exiting soldat another time.
Using soldat in full screen makes "flashes" at least three time at starting.

Well, use XP's compatibility mode. Or... change the mode manually.

Hell no, 98SE pwnz00rs all other OS, doesn't need so much RAM either.. but that's not the point.

I've wrote a program, put it in your soldat folder (where the Soldat.exe file is) run the ResChange.exe file and click on the button "Run Soldat".
The desktop resolution will be set to 640x480 and soldat starts, you can quit the program if you click on the "Quit (800x600)" or "Quit (1024x768)" button.

umm... what about us gosu 1280x1024 users?
and whats the point? when you play soldat, it simply switches to 640x480 after you start the game; your method simply has you switching BEFORE you start... not much difference OR time saved.

That it is a problem of Michal changing the res. at the beggining.
BTW that program does not work. Runtime error. Maybe it is just for XP.

It works well in w98se but don't switch to 32 bits. You go to 800x600 or 1024x768 16 bits.
Anyway is a great program to me ! :-D
