on my old crappy computer i played soldat and it worked very fine and dandy. now on my new sweet one, when i try to play it seems that some of the graphics are working correctly. the jet pack bar dissapears when i use it and the health bar dissapears the first time i get hit....also the guns dont show up! anyone know hoe to fix this problem email me at hizzer4shizzer@hotmail.com, im me on aim at hizzer4shizzer or pm me on this or post here, please i need help![:-weepn]

i found out more info....when i dont run in full screen mode, this error message comes up...

"error initializing 3D Hardware. Your hardware does not support DirectX8. Be sure to install the latest video drivers. Now software will be used..."

then it does the same thing i said in the above post

I think I know how to get rid of that error message: Go to Start-Programs-Soldat-Setup, when in there make sure that in the Graphics section, the Antialiasing option is unchecked. This should sort out the "Error initializing 3D Hardware..." problem. I don?t know about the other problem, trying reinstalling the game (don't forget to uncheck the Antialiasing box for the new install). If that does not work try fiddling around in Setup (maybe under the 'more' section, try checking the Video Compatibility box or Force Software. It that does not work just wait for Nightcabbage to post, he'll help you.

Make sure you have DirectX 9.0b installed:
