OK here my problem. Im renting a shellhost on a unix server. Ive got soldat running on it and some other programs. This all works fine but i have to acces the server with a program like Putty. When i start the soldat server with a couple commands in putty it all works fine but when i go offline and i shutdown putty the soldat server also quits while my shell host is still online. Other programs like Ventrilo en PsyBnc are also still running. So is is possible the soldat server also keeps running??

yes sure its possible u have to use the "screen" function of your shell.
type.
screen ./soldatserver and all will be well. when the server is running just press strg+a , strg+z to leave the screen. you now can log off putty and your server is still running !

btw in order to reconnect to the screen use "screen -r screen1"
any suggestions if server is running but gmae not starting ? players have to wait for join unendingly
