Ok i like running my own server and rarely do guys get laggeed on my server as well, but, yes but, when i join my own dedicated server i can play for a little while, or if 5+ guys show up, i get Connection Problem that never goes away, then connection time out. This is only when i join my own server, any ideas about what parts i would need to put in my computer to NOT get this?

My parts
Windows 2000
392,740kb of ram
(Have all the Direct X [:-censored])
A Cable COnnection running at and around 2680kbps
A Netgear Router,-(without it i still get this problem)

hmmmm, I am having a similar problem myself.

I have a 1.5Mb ADSL connection, and a tank of a computer.

I create a dedicated server, and then join it using the IP 127.0.0.1

It plays fine for the most part, but then I, and most other people, get a connection problem, and generally a timeout.

Rather very annoying.

Doesn't happen with a listen server either :/

yup it lags everyone..
