I've been crazy busy at work and home the last couple of days so I didn't get a chance to post sooner.
On Wednesday of last week the DNAGames SQL server got hit by Slammer worm, while this should have been patched ages ago it wasn't as the vunerable ports where blocked at router level. Unfortunatly one of my ISP's network engineers removed the port blockage [:(] without telling me (I'm the head of the tech support dept. so I normally get all this kinda info passed to me)....anyhooo...While I was on holiday I saw the traffic from DNAGAmes servers hit 14M/sec (see pic) and asked the network team to pull server servers offline until I got back from my holiday. It's now all patched up and I was able to bring it back online yesterday.
