I'm fine with it as long as the text is kept small, if it becomes a problem we may need to change the rules.

Koil, I think you mean the background color of the forums, but the background behind your signature/avatar is different every second post (as you see).

Oh, and afaik you can't make transparent GIFs with MS paint :>
Transparent GIFs wouldn't have anything to do with the forums. Usually you select the colors you want to be transparent in your graphics program, like Photoshop or PhotoImpact.
