Good game it is.

A couple of days ago, I started getting the access violation thing. I tried to ask for help in a server before it started crashing, but they kicked and banned me, which wasn't very helpful :@

Anyway I fixed it thanks to the FAQ's and forum search function:

[Delete the file dxlog.chk in the 'windows' folder]

It would have been nice if the guys hosting the game had told me this rather than banning me :(

Anyway, after that random thread^^ I'm off for now :P

I started to get the Access violation thing again :'(

I have reinstalled and done everything that the threads have said to do.

What is this access violation all about? If thats some anti-cheat thing, then its pretty poor if it messes the game up for lots of people who try to play it :
any other ideas for fixing the game?

just folow the FAQ's, it helped me with the Accses violation

Yea HappyCamper I have done... I've fixed it twice now. It seems to break again, spontaneouly.

I've a sneaking suspicion it doesn't like a program I use, called Tsearch. It's a memory hacking utility (no, I dont cheat at soldat if anyone is wondering)...it seems that if I run Tsearch, then I have to go through the list of things to stop Access violation.

I'm not trying to run the two at the same time, so I'm not sure what the problem is :S

Anyway, I'll just have to try not to use the Tsearch utility, otherwise I guess I'll have to reinstall AGAIN :(

Does anyone know why this happens? Is it some poor attempt to stop soldat cheaters by stopping anyone who runs memory hacking programs?

Tsearch can be used to hack games, Soldat detects all such programs and makes it a pain for anyone using them. Live with it.

Just don't run Tsearch.

u gotta reinstall, delete Dxdialog, cmodule, and dont run any sort of hacks during soldat

No, even BMF is welcoming the newbie.

I've never run Tsearch when running soldat, like I said. So this doesn't make sense. I only used Tsearch once in the past month or so, and then BLAM soldat suddently hates me. Pretty aggrivating.

Its not really as simple as "don't run Tsearch"... I make my own trainers and stuff (no, not for multiplay).

BMF, has it occured to you that if there were no noobs, you would be the only person in this community? Has it also occured to you, that you probably arnet the first person in the world to play soldat? you douche.
