i record the demo, but i cant play demo.

did you go into join game and then type in the name of the demo and put the port as 0 and click join game? cos it should work that way

there is a program that gets it setup for you but i dont know what the link was. but someone else may know

There's no "demo compressor" or "decompressor".
Just record the demo and play it with Soldat.
You can use the Diamond Demo Player v1.0 for it.. it's easy to use.

Sometimes you can't play the demos, I don't know why. As you said, Soldat says "Playing demo", but nothing happens.
You probably have to record it again (does someone know a solution? I don't.)

Try reinstalling Soldat if you can't play any demos that you record. Worked for me. Would be nice tho if this bug was found and fixed later tho.
