There are still some minor things to be done (I haven't worked on the anticheat system for example) but here it is.
Please test all the stuff in the change list, I didn't do much testing. Especially check the ones marked with "?".

1.2.1 -> 1.2.2a
- Added new gamemode: Hold the Flag
- Added possibility to throw away held flag (press throw grenade and throw weapon buttons at once)
- Added dodge move - pressing the jets button while jumping backwards makes the player do a back-flip
- Added flames from flamer stick to victim and make him die slowly in pain, flames can stick to other people
- Added team player names appear on screen borders (F2 key turns this on/off)
- Added bullet statistics after kill (distance of shot, airtime and number of ricochets)
- Added reason and voter displayed on map or kick vote
- Added when playing on a weapons mod server all weapon statistics are shown in weapons menu
- Added when selecting weapons little help messages appear (for new players, dissappears after few runs of game)
- Added menu option to specify amount of kills/deaths to win/lose weapon in advance mode
- Added penalty time in Infiltration and HTF when teams are uneven (points are added every 5 seconds + 2 seconds for every uneven team member)
- Added penalty for capture points in Infiltration when teams are uneven (30 points for capture - 5 points for every red team member more)
- Added full weapons modifications (edited in a file 'weapons.ini'), servers with weapons mods have a prefix '(WM)' in their name
- Added infiltration and HTF options in soldat.ini -
Blue_Points_Time (time for blue team to get point in seconds); Red_Points_Capture (amount of points for capture); HTF_Points_Time (time to get point in seconds)
- Added KillConsole_Length and MainConsoleLength value to soldat.ini
- Added running Soldat mods through "-mod" parameter ex. "Soldat.exe -mod HarryPotter" - loads all graphics, sounds and txt files from folders in Soldat\HarryPotter)
- Added file "Soldat\Txt\font.ini", allows to change in-game font (useful for mods and translations)
- Added flame animations are now in different files than explosion (for mod-makers)
- Added files "m2-2.bmp" and "bow-2.bmp" so these weapons don't have to be symmetrical (for mod-makers)
- Added command "/loadwep" for reloading 'weapons.ini', useful for tweaking settings
- Added command "/loadcon" for reloading the config file (soldat.ini) while in-game, useful for tweaking network settings
- Added command "/game X" for changing gamemodes (X = 0 DM, 1 PM, 2 TM, 3 CTF, 4 RM, 5 INF, 6, HTF)
- Modified bodies preserve velocity after death
- Modified survival mode round ends when everybody on team is killed in CTF and capture point is added for winners
- Modified in survival mode all players and flags respawn after round end
- Modified player joining a survival mode game is dead until end of round
- Modified flame god mode time is shorter (10 seconds) and works on all gamemodes
- Modified flamer is not lost after flame god mode, can be thrown away after but dissapears
- Modified increased radius of pick up (flags, boxes, weapons) slightly
- Modified cursor gets bigger when bink effect occurs
- Modified when calling a vote you need to type the reason for the vote
- Modified can't call a vote for 2 minutes after previous vote
- Modified chat taunts are automaticly sent after pressing Alt+key, after pressing the chat button they can be selected the old way
- Modified mp3 music volume is independent from sound volume (Music volume option works for mp3)
- Modified weapons statistics, the most important changes:
- bink effect removed from every weapon except the one-hit kill weapons (bink - it is harder to aim with it when you are hit by a bullet)
- M79, bullet is slower by 4.5%, has much smaller bink
- All auto weapons cause less damage
- Ak74 has nearly the same damage as before but has slightly slower rate of fire
- Ruger, Deagles and USSOCOM are slightly weaker
- bink effect on LAW
- Fixed grenade selfkilling
- Fixed chainsaw collision so it is possible to massacre bodies
? - Fixed weapon jamming after reload
- Fixed not being able to chat on map change
- Fixed time does not flow if game is paused
- Fixed mp3 playing when list loops
- Fixed Advance mode cheat allowing to pick a disabled weapon with the keyboard
? - Fixed server host bullet hit boost effect
? - Fixed mute bug
- Fixed LAW exploit (dropped LAW must be reloaded)
- Fixed alt+F4 doesn't make a screenshot

This change list looks absolutely amazing!! I'm jumping in my chair right now. XD

Edit: So far, this version is orgasmic. I think the only problem we've found so far is that when you throw the flag, you throw your weapon away as well. I don't know if this is intentional or not. It only happens in 1 out of 2 servers for me.

Oh, also, the air distance and measurement screws up if you get multiple kills with one bullet. I'll try to get a screenie later.

Oh, and is the Flamer supposed to work after Flame God is over, or is it supposed to just stay there to annoy you? :P

For now I can only say I love what's being shown in the changelog and what I could try out in the short time I played the Beta for now. It seems when playing 1.2.2 public, my favorite Deagles won't be overused anymore, and I will be able to use the Steyr without being lame again :)

btw I'm sorry I didn't write you about the weapon balance yet. I know I wanted to do this last sunday, but we just didn't get to discussing. But I hope and guess balancing issues will now be solved in this betatest :)
Another thing: Please don't take this as an offence, but I'd be really glad if there could be smaller patches if it gets clear that there are heavy problems with the weapon balance this time, so that you don't need to wait for the next big release to come for having fair weapons again.

How about adding another option like advanced mode :
When one man on your team uses a certain weapon, everybody else on the same team looses the option to choose that weapon. Meaning only 1 same weapon per team, meaning more diversity and better gameplay, also meaning more specialisation in weapons, and no more abusing 3x AK(or steyr or minimi), allthough 1x steyr, 1x ak, 1x minimi is still possible.
No more 3x m79 going after the flagger when flags are at a standstill in ctf.
It would kick ass for clanwars, i think we all agree on that.

Otherwise i find the patch change list very nice, but i don't see how the 4,5% slower m79 is relevant to anything :)

well the bink has been lowered for the m79, so he probably slowered the projectile to add more 'dodge time' for it's victims. Although 4.5% doesn't sound much ....i'd hate to see another 1-shot weapon dominating the scene. Even now most the public servers for 1.2.1 seem to be dominated by m79, despite it's flaws.

This is awesome. The backflip is a very nice feature. I've yet to test all the changes, but I like them so far.

By the way, I think I can safely confirm that the mute bug and the server host bugs are now fixed. The mute bug now appears on player #1, but the strange thing is that it doesn't mute them. It says it did, but it really doesn't.

The server host bug is completely gone, afaik.

Gun jam is not fixed. Fast way to check. Empty your gun, throw it, get the secondary, throw it while you are over the thrown weapon and you automatically get the jammed gun.

I can't jam my gun doing that, maybe I am doing something wrong.

You can jam the knife on my server.

If you use the minigun to spawn lots of knives and then stand over them and throw your weapon, your knife will be jammed.

Did you change anything connected with the sound?
since I can't hear my m79 bombing while it's just in the middle of the screen and i'm on one of the sides.

nah they'r not missing N1nja,he tried to do it so when sth is bombing a bit far from you, you would hear it less..
so if it's in the other side of the map you can't hear it at all..
I think you should hear everything on the screen, things that out of it shouldn't be heared.
