After some time, the server just stopped acknowledging any requests for files of any type... map, texture etc. The client was sending the request, but the server console showed no acknowledgement of the request, even though there were still people in the server and it was running fine.

The file server must of shut down. What MaxConnections did you set in soldat.ini?

I got the Selfkill server crashed with MaxConnections=3, it happened once. I don't know what settings are the best. I should write to Microsoft about this bug :(.

Well if this bug appears on Windows and not on Linux it's Microsoft's fault ;).
