i know that the 1.2.1 servers seriously suck at serving custom maps (sorry MM), where the fileserver crashes (although the gameserver apparently still runs. yes i have max_connections cranked up, a couple times). has this been addressed for the new version? twice ive tried running a u13 custom map server, and both times i had to ditch the idea because it was so unstable (crashing the fileserver after 5-10 game joins or less)
