i was just telling you guys on TS that i put linux on that box that was running the u13 beta server. ill put it back up on linux now

Actually some of us were talking about having 'another' session thats a little more USA friendly. Hopefully some of the aussies can even have a pinch of the game too.

How does 11-midnight GMT/BST sound on the say day? BE THERE.

(east coast america = -5 GMT)
(west coast america = -7-8 GMT)

er, chakra i said on TS that i won't be at home at all tonight. I will try and get the u13 beta server up... but i can't attend anything tonight

So what do you think about the balance now? Any weapon you liked better than others?

Ruger was a tad too strong. Autos were fine, xcept minimi, maybe increase the selfbink on the minimi a bit. Maybe another slight lowering of deagles damage and that's be it.

Autos were fine, but the self bink is still easily avoidable. DE is balanced, so is spas, barret and M79. Other problems are the minigun (which didn't get it's fame in the server, but trust me, it's one hell of a gun now, just ask Outcast) and the ruger. I've made a weapon mod of my own, and it seems to be balanced with it. http://llsc.us/members/Demonic/uploads/demomod.txt (ruger mainly got 125 reload time and everything else has a bit less damage )

I got used to the self-bink after about an hour. You must concentrate more. Ruger was overpowered imho, maybe it should be slower?
Well sort it out guys, I'm leaving for a week. Let grand_diablo upload weapons mods (/loadwep file - works btw). See ya.

I wasn't there. Did you guys do a auto-vs-non-auto thing like we did the last few? Always like to see how they fair against one another.

Someone schedule one for this Sunday too while you're at it...and get those damn yanks and aussies involved.

yeh, we did, and the result was more or less dependant on the player skills (red/non-auto) won twice because they had the slightly more experienced (and less laggy) players.

Bascially I took all (most) of the suggestions that were in the weapon balance thread. The self-bink stats for all the autos were exactly the same as
Demonics weapon mod except for mp5 (it's -35 rather than -30). The damages were unchanged except for deagles (from 176 to 174). The Ruger reload time is
increased to 115 like most suggested. And chainsaw ammo is increased to 50 as well.
