This whole new self bink has added quite a twist. Gonna take quite a while to get the whole weapon balance right. It's quite alot to take in if ya ask me.


Anyhow, point of this thread? Just give a few brief descriptions of changes to the balance that 'you' would like to see happen. Just so that we can get an idea of what we're all thinking and then check them out.


Me? I think...

1. Ruger should have a longer reload. (from 75 to 115ish, maybe more or less, but something significant)
Right now, ruger has a shorter reload than MP5, which is saying something. Changing the ruger in any other way hasn't felt right to alot of us so far, but I think this would help balance it out.

2. I can't say without testing or being in today's slaughter, but I think autos need 'more' self bink. They still seem to do alot in groups, and the whole 'bad aim' thing doesn't seem to occur until half way into the clip or later. I for one haven't found many times i've had to control my bursts of spray.

3. We should bribe Michal with Hitman/Prince Harry porn until he does something about that tiny reload niggle for the shotgun (where you fire during reload, and it just fires straight ahead no matter where you're aiming).

Autos felt quite fine in the last slaughter, the current selfbink (xcept for the minimi) is ok (imo).

I agrees with 1 and 3. But I am with grand_diablo on #2. Today's slaughter matches were all close games, and semi won all of them if i am not mistaken.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention


I would like to see chainsaw ammo increase from 30 to something like 50. I feel it could do with a bit more so it gets a fairer chance to see some action.

If we gonna increase the self-bink tremendously, we need #4 + a maximize self-bink point. Basically, once you reach this limit point, you don't self-bink yourself any greater, so the cursor will stay at that increased size until you released ur button.

Agrees now you can make the bullets go more then 90 degrees wich is wierd.


Also i would like to see bullets to spread random inside the spread angle instead of the bullets going at the 2 extremes(edges) of the spread angle.

And I still say the bink "goes down" too fast. Shoot 20 shots, stop for 1/2 - 1 second, go on shooting. This won't decrease spraying much..

Not if you increase self-bink, so that 5-10 shots you get self-bink. Then it will force the players to burst.

Taking the last slaughter as example, I think the current selfbink is fine, I agree to that mix bink point though. And 1/2 second is not enough to make the whole selfbink fade away, if you start shooting again after 1/2 seconds, you will be binked again far sooner than starting to shoot "from the scratch"
