SBM is a small utility that allows you to create your own bots to Soldat, it features a random routine that changes the colors, accuracy, fav weapon, all. But I have a question that needs a correct answer by the main developer of Soldat:

What's the highest value allowed in the HAIR and CHAIN parameters in the bot files?

Demo limitations: Does not save the created bot file.

lol are you really going to make it trial-only and then you have to pay? There is a good Bot Maker somewhere on these forums that worked fine with the old version....i couldn't get it to work with the new version though....maybe this could be useful!

Yeah, the link at members.aol is a free botmaker that works almost perfectly and is easy to se. Read Evo's Bot Making sticky for more info.

I dont know how old this post is, but using sliders isnt the best idea, especialy for Grenade frequency. Because Terminators Grenade frequancy is well over 1000, i think its 10000.

well, i don't use notepad, but i use a program i set up for myself in a program called gamemaker...not quite as efficient but i'l take it over notepad, but there ain't a snowballs chance in heck that i would go pay so much as a u.s. cent for a program when i used notepad for the first 2 bots i worked on(only thing i'm not totally sure on is one of the variables but i think i figured out what its for this time...)

Erm. I'm just wondering. Why the hell would you charge money for something you could knock up in VB in a night? I mean seriously, I'm no great programmer. However I've looked at the bot files. I could create a BotMaker in VB easy...

Oh and by the way, this is a question to someone who actually knows the answer, no ignorant replies please. Do the updated bot files propogate during game? If so, obviously only the server can propogate new settings, are these settings saved in the clients bot files?

I'm actually partial to SciTE myself. Great editor, supports a lot of programming / web dev languages, and you can add your own as you see fit.
