do you mean the look? if so then you just change the gfx (or what ever) in hte folder

To clarify: modifing the .bmps of the weapons used in soldat is allowed (it's called 'mod'ing) but you can't change the names of the weapons without reverse engineering the soldat .exe which is not allowed by the terms of soldat.

You can change the names of the weapons really easily!!! just edit the text file and it appears ingame! tell me if this is illegal and I will stop, but I have weapons that are called the berreta, 12 gauge and others. it all works on game too, so when one person kills another, the report in the top left says this accurately. but you dont have to mess with the exe at all, it was really easy.

How about changing the animations? You're not changing the .exe, just the animation files...

I assume no-one's done this and writing the editor won't be a waste of time? If so, then about 50% is done. It lets you preview animations as a stick figure, play them, and so on. It also has the english names of most of the animations, so no more wondering what 'kucaidzie' is (crouch walk). If some-one wants it, I can do up a version that's allow you to change animations...
